  • Corrosion Resistance

INCONEL 625 is an austenitic superalloy primarily composed of nickel, designed for high strength and durability in demanding environments. Its remarkable mechanical strength and fatigue resistance (even at high temperatures up to 1093℃), are derived from the solid solution strengthening effects of molybdenum and niobium within a nickel-chromium matrix, making it a key material in aerospace applications.

Though designed for strength in high-temperature environments, its high chromium and molybdenum content endow it with exceptional resistance to corrosion in a multitude of environments, from highly oxidizing to general corrosion conditions to demonstrate outstanding resistance to corrosion damage and stress corrosion cracking. It also exhibits superior corrosion resistance in chloride-contaminated media, making it highly effective in environments such as seawater, geothermal fluids, neutral salts, and brine.

  • Applications

Components for organic chemical processes containing chlorides, especially in the presence of acidic chloride catalysts; digesters and bleaching tanks in the pulp and paper industry; absorbers, reheaters, flue gas inlet baffles, fans (wet), agitators, baffles, and ducts in flue gas desulfurization systems; equipment and components for acidic gas environments; acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction vessels; sulfuric acid condensers; pharmaceutical equipment; bellows expansion joints, etc.

  • Matching Welding Materials

    ERNiCrMo-3, ENiCrMo-3

  • Supply Forms

Plates, strips, bars, wires, forgings, rods, welding materials, flanges, etc. Custom processing according to drawings is available.
